Get wrecked on one of our wild Moreton Island sand boarding safaris.   • A fantastic day aboard Dolphin Wild's FastCat as it races across Moreton Bay where you will discover the beauty of the Moreton Bay Marine Park, home to many bottlenose and Pacific Humpback dolphins as well as the shy Dugong which grazes on the Bay's seagrass meadows. Expert commentary.
  • A guided snorkelling tour on a sub-tropical reef system at either Flinders Reef or the Tangalooma Wrecks. The expert guides will provide instruction and lead you through this wonderland of marine life, some tame enough to eat off your hand. This off-boat experience includes all equipment.
  • Try the rush of boom netting through the crystal clear waters surrounding Moreton Island .
  • Mid-afternoon you will transfer to one of Goanna Adventures' 4WDs for your Safari around the Island . Included will be an eco-tour to Cape Moreton, Honeymoon Bay, a history and culture tour along Eastern Beach including WW2 and aboriginal sites, plus you will camp right on the beach near Blue Lagoon.
  • One night at our permanent Base Camp with everything supplied. Shower and toilet facilities. Single, twin, and group tents available.
  • Get the rush of sand tobogganing and sand boarding down some of the World's largest sandhills. Speeds in excess of 65kph can be reached on our profesional toboggans and sand boards. We will take you to either the "Desert" or the "Big Sandhills" depending upon conditions. And you will be going with Moreton's original sand boarding company!
  • All meals including a seafood smorgasbord on first day, all 4WD transport, all ferry and transfer cost, all National Park fees, are included. No hidden costs - fantastic value.
 
 

Passengers must be able to swim to undertake the snorkeling tour on day 1.

Able to be purchased/hired: Sleeping bag with sheet can be hired for $6. Guide to be paid but needs to be ordered in advance.
 
What to bring: There will be no opportunity to purchase anything on Moreton Island. Bring any special needs, swimming costume, towel, toiletries, insect repellent, flash light, suncreen, sun hat, sandles/walking shoes. For overnight you may wish to bring alcohol and cigarettes. Please keep luggage to a small bag.

Pickup/departure instructions:
CBD Brisbane pickup at all major Hotels and Hostels available between 8.30am and 9am. East Brisbane and Fortitude Valley pickups also available. Main pickup point in the City: City Hall end of Roma Street, in the Bus Zone opposite the Carlton Crest Hotel.
